Eileen White is the Chair of the Trustees and has a background as a primary school teacher.
Eileen worked for many years in the London Borough of Hillingdon as a senior manager and was a successful Head Teacher before she relocated to Wantage with her husband and two young boys, who are now almost grown up!
Her years in education were the perfect training ground for her role as Chair, already she is at the centre of setting the ethos and culture of the HUB. As chair her job is to get things done from organising agendas, making sure actions are followed up, writing policies and ensuring enduring processes and systems are set up. Skills very familiar to any head teacher!
Her passion is see the HUB built to a high standard and also to see it up and running and ready to welcome many, long into the future.
